Position Summary
The Business Development Lead (Growth Resource) will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing B2B clients across international and domestic markets. This role combines prospecting, consultative selling, and deal-closing skills to create predictable cash flow and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate high-quality B2B leads through LinkedIn, Clutch, Upwork, Angel List, and other outbound channels.
- Conduct outreach campaigns via messaging, email, and calls to connect with decision-makers, founders, and senior executives.
- Schedule and lead discovery calls to assess client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Prepare, customize, and present proposals aligned with client goals and organizational capabilities.
- Follow up consistently with prospects, negotiate terms, and close deals in line with revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction post-sale.
- Track pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts, and report performance to management.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B SaaS or IT sales (preferably with international clients).
- Strong knowledge of outbound lead generation on LinkedIn, Clutch, Upwork, Angel List, and similar platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Expertise in preparing persuasive proposals, presentations, and sales documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close high-value deals.
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a performance-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and basic analytics is an advantage.
Compensation
- Salary range: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month (depending on experience and performance).
- OR Commission-based model: 5–10% of the generated bills (subject to agreement).
