Megathil is hiring for one of our premium client with a global presence.
We're looking for a
proactive and knowledgeable Business Development / Marketing Executive
to lead our
API and Intermediates
portfolio.
You'll be responsible for driving new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and supporting technical and regulatory documentation — both in India and international markets.
This role combines
strategic marketing, client relationship management
, and
hands-on business execution
. You should be ready to travel for client meetings, conferences, and exhibitions.
Location:
Karapakkam, Chennai
Qualification:
M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry
(MANDATORY)
Experience:
4–6 years in Business Development / Marketing of APIs or Intermediates
What You'll Do
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's API and intermediate product portfolio.
- Identify and connect with key pharmaceutical and chemical companies across India.
- Plan and execute marketing strategies for APIs and intermediates, focusing on regulatory filings and product registrations.
- Expand business across domestic and global markets by acquiring new clients and nurturing existing ones.
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers for documentation and product qualifications.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Conduct regular market research and share insights on competition and trends.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews for management.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and ensure timely payments.
- Represent the company at national and international industry events.
What We're Looking For
- Education:
M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry (mandatory) - Experience:
4–6 years in marketing or business development of APIs or Intermediates - Strong understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
- Willingness to travel across India and abroad
- Energetic, self-driven, and goal-oriented professional
