Copy Lead
who can elevate our craft, lead with confidence, and drive ideas that create both emotional and business impact.

About the Role

The
Copy Lead
is a key creative leadership role responsible not just for writing, but for steering the creative direction of verbal communication across brands.

This role is perfect for someone who brings both craft and clarity someone who can think strategically, lead creatively, and guide a team of writers to produce memorable work.

What You Will Own

1. Creative Leadership & Idea Development

  • Lead the conceptual development of integrated campaigns from mainline to digital.
  • Work closely with art, design, strategy, and production to build breakthrough ideas.
  • Elevate every brief by bringing smart storytelling and strong creative POVs.

2. Copywriting Excellence

  • Write high-quality copy across formats:
  • Films & scripts
  • Social and digital campaigns
  • Brand narratives
  • Print, OOH, and activation-led communication.
  • Maintain the highest standard of language, tonality, and messaging consistency.

3. Brand Stewardship

  • Understand brand language deeply and maintain consistency across all communication.
  • Guide clients with clarity strategically and creatively by presenting ideas with conviction.
  • Push for innovative, insight-led narratives that build stronger brand stories.

4. Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead, mentor, and groom the copy team (junior + mid-level writers).
  • Enhance collaboration between the design, strategy, and production teams.
  • Review, refine, and elevate all outgoing copy to ensure strong creative output.

5. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with client servicing to understand business objectives and translate them into communication.
  • Work alongside strategy teams to convert insights into powerful creative messaging.
  • Ensure seamless integration between copy, design, and production.

6. Creative Growth & Upskilling

  • Encourage experimentation and inspire fresh thinking within the team.
  • Introduce new writing styles, narrative formats, and storytelling techniques.
  • Support the creative director in pushing the overall creative bar of the group.

What You Bring

  • 7–10 years of experience
    as a copywriter in an advertising or creative agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead creative thinking and manage copy teams.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, versatile writing, and integrated campaigns.
  • Excellent command of language, storytelling, tonality, and brand voice.
  • Ability to effectively pitch ideas, present concepts, and influence both internal teams and clients.
  • Strong collaboration skills with comfort working across departments.
  • A mindset that values ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
