As an Executive Director in Payment Operations – Real Time Payments, you lead our global team in delivering seamless, compliant, and efficient payment solutions. You partner with cross-functional groups to manage daily operations and drive strategic initiatives. You help us scale our product with minimal cost increase, while ensuring regulatory requirements are met. You empower teams across regions to innovate and automate processes. Together, we create a resilient and future-ready payments ecosystem.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage global operations for the real-time payments business
- Maintain a robust 24x7 operating model for seamless service delivery
- Develop and establish regional and global operational standards
- Implement quality frameworks to prevent repeat errors and incidents
- Oversee daily operations, proactively addressing challenges
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, Technology, Audit, Compliance, and Regulators
- Onboard new branches with minimal operational impact
- Drive strategic thinking while managing granular day-to-day issues
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across regions
- Build and motivate high-performing teams globally
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 10 years of experience in Operations with direct experience in Payments
- Strong knowledge of emerging payments in global markets
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for real-time payments in APAC and EMEA
- Proactive in identifying and addressing quality, standards, and control gaps
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional partnership skills
- Clear and confident communicator at all organizational levels
- Logical and structured approach to planning, problem solving, and decision-making
- Solid awareness of controls and risk management protocols
- Self-starter with ability to manage workload and deliverables independently
- Flexible to support business needs in a 24x7 environment
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for clear storyboarding
- Awareness of advanced controls and risk management protocols
- Knowledge of user tools such as JIRA and Alteryx
- Experience applying Artificial Intelligence solutions to business problems
