Job Description: Junior Executive – QS MEP

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quantity Estimation and BOQ Preparation:

o Prepare and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ) specific to MEP works, detailing material, labor, and equipment requirements.

o Verify and update MEP quantities based on construction drawings and specifications.

2. Cost Management and Control:

o Monitor and control project costs related to MEP systems.

o Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective and cost-saving measures.

o Assist in cost estimation, tendering, and rate analysis for electrical and mechanical works.

3. Billing and Documentation:

o Prepare and certify subcontractor bills related to MEP works and ensure timely approvals.

o Maintain accurate cost records and documentation for all project-related activities.

4. Coordination and Collaboration:

o Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and vendors to ensure accurate measurement and verification of MEP quantities.

o Support project planning and procurement teams in cost-related decisions.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

o Prepare periodic cost reports and summaries for management review.

o Analyze project progress and provide insights on budget performance and material utilization.

Desired Candidate Profile:

· Qualification: B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

· Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying (MEP) functions within the construction or real estate sector.

· Skills:

o Strong knowledge of MEP works, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation.

o Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant QS software tools.

o Excellent analytical and numerical ability.

o Strong communication and coordination skills.

o Attention to detail with a proactive and organized approach to work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
