Job Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Timings:
Option 1: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Option 2: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Salary: ₹4,00,000 – ₹6,00,000 per annum (based on experience)
Incentives: Performance-based and uncapped
About the Role:
The Skillians is seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in education sales to lead and grow our Business Development team. This is a strategic leadership role for professionals with 2–4 years of proven experience in B2C EdTech or education-based consultative sales.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for meeting revenue targets, leading a team of associates, and ensuring a high standard of performance and compliance. This role offers fast-paced career progression in a performance-driven EdTech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership
Manage and mentor a team of Business Development Associates
Conduct daily huddles, performance tracking, and coaching sessions
Facilitate continuous learning and sales training initiatives
- Revenue Ownership
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
Monitor and boost team conversion rates using structured sales frameworks
Handle escalated or high-value sales personally when required
- Client Acquisition & Strategy
Drive and refine strategies for lead acquisition and funnel optimization
Help team members close deals through effective objection handling and personalized sales pitches
- Consultative Sales Approach
Ensure every team member practices value-based, consultative selling
Provide customers with tailored solutions from The Skillians' offerings
- Market Intelligence
Stay ahead of EdTech market trends and competitor activity
Provide regular feedback and insights to leadership for product and process improvement
- Compliance & Ethics
Maintain strict adherence to sales ethics and internal policies
Take proactive action in cases of mis-selling, non-performance, or policy breaches
Required Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in education sales (EdTech preferred)
Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a B2C setting
Experience in leading, mentoring, or training junior sales staff
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving ability in a high-pressure environment
Bachelor's degree required (MBA is a plus)
Compensation & Perks:
CTC: ₹4,00,000 to ₹6,00,000 per annum (based on experience and performance)
Incentives: Uncapped, performance-based (disbursed monthly)
Mobile Telephony Bill: Included in CTC
Leave Policy:
1 Casual Leave per month (12/year)
1 Medical Leave per month (12/year)
Unused leaves will lapse at the end of each month

Important Notes:
Bond Agreement:
Duration: 3 months
Penalty: ₹20,000/- if the employee resigns before 3 months without valid justification

Mis-selling or continuous underperformance may result in immediate termination without compensation
