Job Title: Sales Manager Experience: 5 to 10 years in Retail / FMCG / Fresh Produce / Agri Sales Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the field sales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales numbers.
  • Identify, acquire, and onboard new retail outlets, distributors, and institutional partners.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high-level customer satisfaction.
  • Track daily sales performance, monitor outlet-wise movement, and maintain sales MIS reporting.
  • Analyze local market trends, product movement, customer preferences, and competitor pricing.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain/operations team for smooth order fulfillment and dispatch.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and minimize credit risk from retailers and distributors.
  • Prepare periodic sales forecasts, market analysis reports, and performance review summaries.
  • Monitor and control sales expenses within the approved budget.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Graduate/MBA with 5 to 10 years of experience in the FMCG retail/fresh produce (vegetables, fruits) sector.
  • Proven track record in sales growth, market expansion, outlet onboarding, and team leadership.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal relationship management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of regional market and distribution channel dynamics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/Sales tracking tools.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced field environment.
