Event Sales and Marketing Manager
is responsible for generating business for events through sales strategies and marketing campaigns. This role bridges the gap between client acquisition and brand promotion, ensuring events attract the right audiences and meet revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, agencies, vendors, and sponsors.
- Develop and present proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Manage sales pipelines using CRM tools.
Marketing Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media, email, etc.).
- Promote events to target audiences to drive registrations, attendance, and engagement.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, content creators, and PR teams.
- Manage event websites, social media presence, and promotional content.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Strategic & Reporting Tasks:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and client needs.
- Develop pricing strategies and promotional offers.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and marketing reports.
- Work closely with event operations teams to align marketing with event delivery.
