About the role:

Dropty is building a smart, airline-integrated logistics platform covering customer applications, operations apps, and internal admin systems.

We're looking for a hands-on Tech Lead who can design architecture, write production code, and lead execution across multiple applications.

This role is for someone who enjoys owning systems end-to-end — from structure and scalability to delivery and quality.

Responsibilities:

Architecture & Platform Design

  • Own frontend and application architecture across:
  • Customer-facing web apps
  • Operations & partner applications
  • Admin and internal dashboards
  • Design shared foundations (components, layouts, utilities) across products.
  • Define clear domain-based structures (customer flows, operations, CX, finance, partners).
  • Plan role-based access and permission-driven views.
  • Align frontend architecture with backend services and APIs.
  • Support real-time data use cases (status tracking, SLAs, dashboards).

Development & Code Quality

  • Lead hands-on development using 
    React + TypeScript
    .
  • Set standards for code structure, reusability, and performance.
  • Ensure consistency in UX and behavior across applications.
  • Drive performance optimisation, stability, and clean user flows.
  • Implement structured error handling and user feedback patterns.

Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and mentor frontend / application engineers.
  • Review code and architectural decisions.
  • Break product and ops requirements into clear technical plans.
  • Coordinate closely with backend, mobile, design, and ops teams.
  • Support hiring decisions and onboarding.

Required expertise:

  • Strong experience in  + TypeScript for web applications.
  • Proven ability to design end-to-end architecture for multiple mobile applications (customer, ops).
  • Deep understanding of frontend architecture, modular design, and scalability.
  • Experience building both user-facing applications and admin dashboards.
  • Solid knowledge of state management, performance optimization, and large data handling.
  • Ability to design and implement role-based access and permission-driven workflows.
  • Working understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and backend coordination.
  • Experience leading code reviews, mentoring engineers, and enforcing coding standards.
  • Ownership mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
