Role Overview: As the Director of Events at Grand Hyatt Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operations of the Events department in alignment with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the department's smooth and efficient functioning, encompassing both catering sales and convention services functions of the hotel. Qualifications Required: - University degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management is preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Director of Catering, Catering Manager, or Convention Services Manager. - Strong operational, administrative, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities to lead a diverse team. - Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in event management. - Proven track record of driving revenue and achieving targets in a similar role.
