Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Executive. As a Payroll Executive, you will be responsible for managing and handling payroll-related tasks with a focus on excellent client service. This position requires strong communication skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end payroll activities for multiple clients, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding payroll issues, inquiries, and updates.
  • Communicate with clients to collect and verify payroll information, including hours worked, overtime, and leaves.
  • Calculate and process payroll accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports, statements, and tax documents to clients and appropriate third parties.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and changes and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, earnings, deductions, and tax with holdings.
  • Assist in auditing payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide exceptional client service by addressing client concerns, responding to inquiries promptly, and suggesting process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience in handling payroll functions, preferably within the information technology and services industry
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Certification as a Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in client handling is a plus
