We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US Payroll Executive with 2–4 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a BPO environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of end-to-end US payroll operations, compliance requirements, and customer-centric service delivery. This role requires accuracy, timeliness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end US payroll including data validation, payroll run, pre- and post-payroll activities, and final reconciliation.
  • Manage employee data updates, new hires, terminations, and adjustments in payroll systems.
  • Handle tax withholdings, garnishments, deductions, and benefits-related payroll components.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local payroll regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve payroll discrepancies, queries, and escalations.
  • Prepare and review payroll reports, audit checks, and variance analysis to ensure accuracy.
  • Support year-end activities such as W-2 processing and related documentation.
  • Maintain strict data confidentiality and adherence to process controls.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years of US Payroll experience, preferably in a BPO/Shared Services environment.
  • Strong understanding of US payroll laws, tax rules, and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll tools such as ADP, Workday, Ultipro, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts (if required) based on US client timelines.
  • Strong communication skills and client handling capabilities.
