Job Summary

As a Senior Director Business Value Architect, you will lead high-stakes, strategic business transformation initiatives. You must be forward-looking, able to engage at the C-suite level, articulate compelling value propositions, and drive quantifiable business benefits through technology-led change. You will act as a trusted advisor internally and with clients/customers, shaping opportunities, building business cases, and ensuring that proposed solutions deliver sustainable value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage senior leadership (C-suite / board) to understand business strategy, goals, challenges, and priorities.
  • Conduct comprehensive research (internal & external) to gather insights: market trends, competitive landscape, industry best practices, regulatory & compliance shifts.
  • Deep-dive into client or organizations business processes, value chains, KPIs, ROI metrics; identify pain points, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Develop Art of Possible scenarios and transformation hypotheses: how emerging technologies, new operating models, or service redesign could unlock business value.
  • Prepare strong executive narratives, investment justifications, business cases, value cases, ROI / TCO analyses.
  • Build and maintain reusable assets: frameworks, models, templates, reference architectures, proven case studies.
  • Collaborate across functions (Sales / Business Development, Solutions Architects, Delivery / Implementation, Operations, Finance) to ensure alignment of proposed solutions with both business goals and operational feasibility.
  • Drive value definition and value realization: define expected metrics, benefits, tracking mechanisms; monitor outcomes post-implementation.
  • Present proposals, roadmaps, and value cases to internal and external stakeholders; influence decision-makers.
  • Mentor / lead a team of business architects / value consultants.
  • Maintain thought leadership in business value architecture: stay current with emerging technologies, methodologies (e.g. digital transformation, AI, cloud, process automation etc.), and value quantification best practices.
