Key Responsibilities:

Reduction of Wastages

  • Review paste waste Plan vs Actual on a regular basis.
  • Collect actual wastage data, analyze causes, and take corrective actions.

Implementation of TQM Practices on Shop Floor
- Drive continuous improvement by involving teams in Kaizen and QCC (Quality Control Circles).
- Track and increase the number of shopfloor improvement initiatives.

Monitoring & Optimizing Coating Process Efficiency
- Execute production plans effectively.
- Adhere to change-over standards and ensure smooth transitions.
- Review efficiency Plan vs Actual daily and maintain a minimum process efficiency.
- Implement corrective countermeasures wherever required.

Resource Availability & Planning
- Plan and monitor raw material requirements (monthly & daily).
- Review manpower availability daily to avoid production delays.
- Ensure minimal production loss due to resource scarcity.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, TQM, Kaizen, and process improvement.
  • Hands-on experience in wastage reduction, process efficiency monitoring, and production planning.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and handle manpower effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability for root cause analysis and corrective action.
