The roleWe are seeking an experienced a Bid Management Consultant to lead end-to-end proposal development. You will collaborate globally with Sales, Solution Architects, Delivery Leaders, and Practice SMEs to craft compelling, compliant, and customer-centric proposals that articulate the business value of SoftwareOne's solutions. This role demands strong writing, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills - ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, global, and technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Proposal Management
- Lead the full bid lifecycle: qualification, storyboarding, content development, reviews, and submission.
- Develop compliant and persuasive RFP/RFI/RFQ responses
- Coordinate with global stakeholders across Sales, Solution, and Delivery teams to gather inputs, align messaging, and ensure timely delivery.
Proposal Writing & Messaging
- Translate complex technical inputs into clear, customer focused narratives.
- Customize reusable content to align with client context, value proposition, and evaluation criteria.
- Ensure all proposals reflect SoftwareOne's brand tone, solution quality, and differentiation.
Quality & Governance
- Ensure adherence to SoftwareOne's global bid governance framework, version control, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate bid artifacts, CVs, and case studies in the proposal repository.
- Support continuous improvement by contributing to reusable templates, best practices, and knowledge bases.
- 5 - 8 years of experience in Bid Management / Proposal Writing for Cloud, Application – Data & AI, and Technology Services within leading IT or Consulting firms.
- Proven success managing end-to-end RFP responses (preferably global or enterprise-scale bids).
- Strong understanding of Business Applications, IT Portfolio Management, Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, GCP), Application - Data & AI Services.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills with a focus on persuasive storytelling.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple bids, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, or Technology (MBA preferred
