Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager at Tata Steel, based in Odapada. The Assistant Manager will oversee operational processes, ensure the execution of daily tasks, manage teams effectively, monitor progress, and maintain workplace safety compliance. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to overall operational efficiency and organizational success.

Qualifications

  • Project and team management capabilities with strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in process optimization, operations planning, and resource management
  • Ability to analyze and implement safety and environmental compliance standards
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, production, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Familiarity with steel manufacturing processes or experience in a similar industry is advantageous
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
