Job Description: Backend Development Intern (4–6 Months)

Location: Bangalore, Kumara swamy layout .

Duration: 4–6 months

Experience Level: 4–6 months in backend development

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for web and mobile applications.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs; create and manage integrations.
  • Implement payment gateway integration (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal).
  • Contribute to e-commerce platforms—product listings, cart workflows, order processing.
  • Collaborate on both backend and frontend tasks: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Work on application development—from database design to deployment.
  • Integrate with AI-powered features (e.g., using GPT-5 via OpenAI API) to enhance user experience.
  • Ensure smooth backend–frontend integration, working alongside frontend developers.
  • Configure system/authentication frameworks, optimize for performance and security.

Required Skills & Tools:

  • Solid proficiency in Laravel (PHP) framework.
  • Experience with REST API creation, documentation, and testing.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience integrating payment gateways.
  • Exposure to e-commerce development and workflows.
  • Familiarity with Open AI API, particularly GPT-5 models, for enhancing app features.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), test-driven development (TDD), or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of modular architecture, caching, database optimization, and error handling.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
