Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Wireless Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade wireless network solutions across client environments. This role demands hands-on experience with RF planning, access point implementation, and wireless controller management, along with strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with leading OEM platforms such as Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, and Juniper. The candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams and client IT departments to ensure optimal wireless coverage, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and implement wireless networks tailored to client site requirements and coverage goals.
  • Conduct RF site surveys (predictive and physical) to determine optimal AP placement, channel planning, and signal strength.
  • Install, configure, and maintain wireless controllers, access points, and network switches across enterprise environments.
  • Ensure seamless integration of wireless networks with existing LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage wireless security protocols, authentication mechanisms, and access controls (WPA3, 802.1X, RADIUS).
  • Perform wireless performance analysis, interference mitigation, and optimization of network throughput.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues across multiple vendor environments (Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Ubiquiti, etc.).
  • Create and maintain network documentation, configuration backups, and change logs.
  • Collaborate with internal project, support, and NOC teams for smooth project execution and escalation handling.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users or field engineers where required.
  • Stay updated on emerging wireless technologies, tools, and best practices, including Wi-Fi 6/6E and wireless network analytics.
  • Recommend wireless network improvements and contribute to network design reviews and capacity planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Diploma / Graduate in Electronics, IT, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in wireless networking and related RF technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade wireless access points, controllers, and management platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Juniper, Ubiquiti, etc.).
  • Good understanding of wireless networking protocols and IEEE standards (Wi-Fi 5/6/6E – 802.11ac, 802.11ax).
  • Familiarity with RF design and survey tools (Ekahau, NetSpot, or AirMagnet).
  • Strong understanding of network security principles, including wireless encryption, authentication, and NAC integration.
  • Strong Working knowledge of LAN/WAN fundamentals, VLANs, DHCP, and switching concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in client-facing project environments.

Relevant certifications preferred:

  • Cisco CCNA / CCNP (Enterprise or Wireless)
  • Aruba ACMA / ACMP
  • Any vendor-specific Wireless or RF certification

Job Type: Full-time
