Senior Network and Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network and Cyber Security Engineer with a strong background in network infrastructure, Server administration and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Sophos firewalls, antivirus solutions, Active Directory, Hyper-V replication, and general system administration. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining the organization's network and server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

 Systems Administration:

o Manage Windows Server environments, including setup, maintenance, and security.

o Administer Hyper-V and Hyper V Replica.

 Network and Security Management:

o Configure and manage Firewalls, Antivirus and DLP systems (preferably Sophos) to maintain network security.

o Oversee and manage network switches and ensure efficient connectivity.

o Track remediation and closure of vulnerabilities from Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).

o Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents working with the SOC service provider.

o Manage user access, role-based controls, and identity management.

o Support IT audits by maintaining accurate security logs, documentation, and reports.

o Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, SEBI CSCRF, and other regulatory requirements.

o Participate in DR drills and prepare DR drill reports.

 Active Directory and Policy Management:

o Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) and Group Policy Objects (GPO) to support organizational requirements.

 Troubleshooting and Support:

o Diagnose and resolve issues related to systems and printers, ensuring minimal downtime.

 Vendor and Inventory Coordination:

o Collaborate effectively with IT vendors to support system enhancements and troubleshooting.

o Manage and maintain IT inventory, ensuring equipment and software are properly accounted for.

 Policy Implementation and Compliance:

o Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies and procedures.

o Ensure robust technical controls are in place to safeguard the IT environment.

Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

 8+ years of experience in network engineering and desktop support roles.

 Proven experience working with Sophos XG or similar firewall solutions.

 Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server.

 Hands-on experience with enterprise antivirus and endpoint protection systems.

 Familiarity with IT security best practices, patch management, and system hardening.

 Ability to manage and troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, and application software.

 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP (Security), Sophos Certified Engineer, MCSA/MCSE, or CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CISSP, CISM, or CISA.

 Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

 Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell).

Pay: ₹50, ₹70,000.00 per month
