Security Analyst

Job Title: L1 Security Analyst:-

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Level 1 Security Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-level support in various security technologies, including Data Discovery & Classification, File Upload Security, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Network Access Control (NAC), Active Directory (AD), and Zscaler. You will work closely with the senior security teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and assist in the implementation of security measures to protect the organization's data and network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Discovery & Classification:
• Actively support the management of data discovery tools to identify sensitive information across systems.
• Classify data based on predefined policies and assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct routine scans and report findings, while assisting in mitigating risks associated with sensitive data exposure.
• File Upload Security:
• Monitor and secure file uploads across various platforms, ensuring that all files are scanned for potential threats.
• Investigate and resolve file upload-related security incidents, escalating to senior team members as needed.
• Mobile Device Management (MDM):
• Provide support for MDM systems, including device enrollment, configuration, and security policy enforcement.
• Monitor mobile devices to ensure compliance with security policies and resolve any security-related issues.
• Network Access Control (NAC):
• Assist in managing the NAC system to ensure only authorized devices are allowed to access the company network.
• Support network segmentation efforts and enforce security policies at the network level.
• Active Directory (AD) Administration:
• Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory, ensuring access controls are appropriately configured.
• Respond to and resolve user authentication and access issues related to AD.
• Monitor Active Directory security incidents, including potential misuse of privileges or security vulnerabilities.
• Security Incident Monitoring & Response:
• Monitor security alerts and incidents across security platforms, escalating critical issues to senior team members.
• Ensure that incidents are documented, tracked, and resolved according to internal SLAs.
• Assist in performing routine security audits, vulnerability scans, and compliance checks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations with hands-on experience in data security tools, MDM, NAC, AD, or Zscaler.
• Proven experience in supporting security technologies such as Data Discovery & Classification, Mobile Device Management, and Network Access Control.
• Familiarity with IT security concepts such as risk management, data protection, and incident response.
• Familiarity with MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, VMware AirWatch, MobileIron).
• Knowledge of Active Directory administration and group policy management.
• Hands-on experience with Zscaler or similar cloud security platforms.
• Basic understanding of networking protocols, security standards, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
