Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage production operations on the shop floor, ensuring timely and high-quality production of Industrial rubber products, like Rubber Conveyor Belts & allied products
  • Monitor production schedules, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the plant.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Train and guide production staff in the proper methods and techniques.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and ensure products meet the required standards.
  • Maintain records of production metrics and report to senior management.
  • Implement and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wastage & costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in Industrial rubber product manufacturing. (Rubber Conveyor Belts & its related products)
  • Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and equipment used in rubber product manufacturing.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and find effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Familiarity with production planning, scheduling, and quality control processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Manufacturing Process of Rubber Conveyor Belts and related products.
  • Knowledge of Knowhow - RUBBER MIXING MILLS, CALENDAR MACHINE & VULCANIZING PRESS, etc.
