We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities of our injection moulding division. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in plastic injection moulding, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to driving operational excellence in a high-volume production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production & Operations Management

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all injection moulding operations to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure optimal machine utilization, process efficiency, and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.

2. Quality Control

  • Work closely with the quality department to maintain and improve product standards.
  • Monitor process parameters and take corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for defects.

3. Team Leadership

  • Supervise and lead production supervisors, operators, and technical staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews, training, and development plans.
  • Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous improvement.

4. Maintenance Coordination

  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment are in good working condition.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and emergency repairs.

5. Inventory & Material Management

  • Monitor raw material availability and consumption to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage supplies and logistics.

6. Cost & Waste Reduction

  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures through process optimization.
  • Monitor scrap and rework levels, taking steps to minimize waste.

7. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure operations comply with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.

8. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and performance metrics.
  • Generate regular reports for senior management and participate in strategic planning meetings.
  • Experience:
