Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • Strong understanding of MVC, OOP, and RESTful API design.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks like React, , or StimulusJS.
  • Familiarity with background job processing using Sidekiq, Resque, or similar.
  • Experience with RSpec, Capybara, or similar testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Heroku) is a plus.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Contribution to open-source projects or active GitHub profile is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
