Role Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven App Marketing Specialist to own our mobile application's growth, user engagement, and visibility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience utilizing cutting-edge tools to manage App Store Optimization (ASO), paid user acquisition, and targeted push notification campaigns.
Key Responsibilities and Tools
1. App Store Optimization (ASO)
The specialist will drive organic downloads by optimizing our store listings on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Keyword & Metadata Strategy:
Conduct deep keyword research and competitor analysis to optimize titles, descriptions, and keyword fields.
Tools:
Sensor Tower, AppTweak, MobileAction, AppFollow (or similar ASO intelligence platforms).
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO
): Plan and execute A/B tests on creative assets (screenshots, icons, videos, descriptions) to maximize conversion rates from store view to install.
Tools:
SplitMetrics, StoreMaven, or native testing tools like Google Play Experiments.
Ratings & Reviews Management:
Implement strategies to increase positive ratings and manage user feedback efficiently.
Tools:
AppFollow, Appbot, or direct console management (App Store Connect / Google Play Console).
2. Push Notification & Engagement Strategy
The specialist will manage lifecycle messaging to drive retention, re-engagement, and feature adoption.
Campaign Management:
Design, deploy, and analyze segmented push notification campaigns across both iOS and Android.
Platforms:
OneSignal, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), Braze, CleverTap, Leanplum, or MoEngage.
A/B Testing & Personalization:
Utilize platform features to A/B test messages, timings, and personalization variables to achieve optimal delivery and engagement rates.
3. App Marketing Advertising (Paid User Acquisition - UA)
The specialist will manage performance marketing budgets to acquire high-quality users at scale.
Campaign Execution:
Plan, launch, and optimize paid app install campaigns with a focus on maximizing ROI, ROAS, and LTV.
Core Platforms:
Google App Campaigns (UAC) and Apple Search Ads (ASA).
Social/Ad Networks:
Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok Ads, and various in-app networks (e.g., Unity Ads, AppLovin).
Measurement & Attribution:
Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and fraud detection across all paid channels.
Mobile Measurement Partners (MMP):
AppsFlyer or Adjust.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Experience:
4-6 years of hands-on experience in mobile app marketing or growth.
Analytical Proficiency:
Demonstrated ability to work with and interpret data from analytics platforms.
Analytics Tools:
Google Analytics / Firebase, Amplitude, or Mixpanel.
Platform Mastery:
Advanced working knowledge of the native ad platforms listed above (ASA, Google Ads, Meta Ads).
