Senior Staff Engineer, Workday HCM and Security Consultant

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Total experience 10 years
  • Extensive experience in Workday HCM & Security Consultant Technical/Functional.
  • Hands-on experience in Workday HCM including Core HCM, Compensation and Security
  • Strong understanding of Workday data structures, business processes, and system configuration.
  • Workday HCM includes Core HCM, Compensation, and advanced Workday Security configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday data management, calculated fields, security roles, and domain security policies.
  • Experience in development lifecycle activities – from requirements to post-production support.
  • Exposure to Workday Reporting, EIBs, BIRT, and Workday Studio.
  • Experience with Workday modules like Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence Management.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Lead or contribute to the implementation of Workday solutions, including enhancements and integrations.
  • Exposure to Workday Recruiting, Time Tracking, and Absence Management is desirable.
  • Provide ongoing support for Workday, including troubleshooting and resolving issues, and handling upgrades.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding the client's business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
  • Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
  • Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client's requirements
  • Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
  • Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
  • Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
  • Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
  • Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
