**Position:** Business Development Associate – Digital Marketing Solutions for Event
Organizers
**Location:** Hyderabad, India (Work from Office)
**Experience:** 3–5 Years
Job Summary
As a Business Development Associate at eMedEvents, your primary responsibility will be to
sell and promote digital marketing and promotional services to conference and event
organizers, particularly within the medical, scientific, and healthcare sectors. You will
identify potential clients, understand their marketing goals, and offer tailored digital
solutions — including event promotions, email campaigns, targeted listings, and advertising
placements — to help them reach wider professional audiences and increase registrations
and sponsorship visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and reach out to potential conference and event organizers who can benefit
from eMedEvents' marketing and advertising services.
Present customized digital marketing packages, promotional plans, and visibility
opportunities through email campaigns, listings, social media marketing, and web
banners.
Understand each organizer's event type, audience, and goals to recommend marketing
solutions that drive measurable results (registrations, reach, leads, or visibility).
Maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, follow-ups, and CRM updates to
ensure consistent business growth.
Prepare proposals, handle pricing discussions, and close deals in line with revenue
targets.
Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business for
multiple events.
Track competitor offerings, emerging marketing trends, and new technologies to
improve positioning and sales strategy.
Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of
campaigns and client satisfaction.
Track and report key performance metrics — including leads, conversions, campaign
outcomes, and monthly revenue.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or digital marketing, preferably
in event promotion, healthcare, or education sectors.
Familiarity with digital marketing concepts (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media,
and analytics tools) and event promotion workflows.
Proven ability to pitch, negotiate, and close business deals.
Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to tailor messages for
different audiences.
Motivated by targets, with a record of achieving or exceeding sales objectives.
Ability to interpret marketing data, campaign performance, and audience insights.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with international clients.
Preferred
Experience selling digital marketing or event sponsorship services.
Understanding of the Continuing Medical Education (CME/CE) or medical event
landscape.
Prior exposure to CRM systems and lead generation platforms (e.g.Salesforce, LinkedIn
Sales Navigator).
Compensation
Salary + Commission (based on sales targets).
