Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development professional with minimum 3 years' experience in business development / sales / client acquisition, ideally with some exposure or willingness to work in the IP domain, to help scale our India operations. The person will be responsible for expanding our client base, increasing revenue, managing relationships, and working closely with our IP attorneys / agents / analysts to package and deliver proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities specifically in sectors needing IP services — R&D, tech/startups, universities, research institutes and corporates.
- Lead generation & outreach via channels relevant to IP clients: legal/technology conferences, IP networks, referrals, institutional contacts, online platforms.
- Negotiate commercial terms, service level expectations, and contracts for IP services.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Work with internal team to ensure service delivery aligns with what was promised and manage client expectations.
- Track metrics: pipeline, conversion rates, revenue, repeat clients, client satisfaction.
- Represent anovIP at IP‑events, seminars, webinars, trade shows, IP associations.
Required :
- Experience in business development, preferably in professional services (legal / IP / technology). Even if no prior IP role, should demonstrate ability to learn domain.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving targets, closing deals.
- Good communication (verbal and written), especially the ability to explain legal/technical services to non‑experts.
- Comfortable working with & managing the team.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales tools; ability to work independently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30, ₹45,000.00 per month
