POSITION STATEMENT:
- As the BASS Senior Consultant/ Consultant, you will act as the technical anchor for Sales and Delivery teams, owning end-to-end solution design, proposal development, and seamless deal transition.
•You'll craft winning propositions, defend solutions with stakeholders, and mentor junior consultants ensuring every deal balance innovation, feasibility, and client value.
Key Hallmark: Your ability to unify teams, translate client requirements into actionable solutions, and champion techno-commercial optimization will define success in this role.
The Role: We are seeking an elite Solution Architect with a strong consultative pre-sales background to lead our most strategic engagements in the Insurance sector across India, MEA, and APJ. You will own the technical solution for complex, multi-year managed services deals. This is a senior, front-line role where you will design and defend integrated solutions that span the entire technology lifecycle, from code commit to customer experience.
Core Mission: Architect and win large-scale Digital Assurance deals by designing holistic solutions that combine our Agentic AI accelerators, OEM platforms, and expert services. You will be the credible, authoritative voice in the room, convincing senior client stakeholders of our unique value proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Solution Defence: Serve as the lead strategist in high-stakes client meetings. You will own the business narrative, confidently framing our technical architecture within a compelling value proposition to present, defend and negotiate solution scope with C-level executives, enterprise architects, and digital & business leaders.
- Architect Full-Lifecycle Solutions: Design comprehensive, end-to-end assurance strategies that go beyond traditional QE. Your solutions will uniquely integrate:
- Pre-Production: Functional & Non-Functional (Performance).
- Post-Production: APM, Observability, SRE, Synthetic Monitoring & Command Center operations.
- Own the Technical Proposal: Drive the solutioning process for complex RFPs. Create robust effort estimations, resource models, and compelling technical narratives for managed services proposals.
- Integrate a Multi-Platform Ecosystem: Craft solutions that leverage a combination of assets: our in-house and OEM led Agentic AI accelerators, best-in-class OEM tools for automation and post production (e.g., Katalon, UiPath, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Tricentis etc), and open-source frameworks.
Required Experience & Competencies:
We are looking for a specific profile and will prioritize candidates who meet these criteria.
- Experience Level: 8-12+ years in the IT services industry, with a proven track record in a consultative pre-sales, solution architecture, or senior consulting role.
- Client-Facing Acumen: Verifiable experience leading solution defence for large-scale managed services bids. You must have executive presence and outstanding communication skills.
- Holistic Technical Vision: You must understand and have experience solutioning across the full pre-production to post-production lifecycle (QE, Performance, SRE, Observability).
Domain & Platform Expertise:
- Primary Requirement: Deep, demonstrable experience solutioning for the Insurance sector (Property & Casualty, General, Health and/or Life).
- Platform Knowledge: Experience designing solutions around complex enterprise ecosystems, including core insurance platforms (TCS BaNCS, Life Asia, Ingenium, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Sapiens, Oracle OIPA etc.), understanding of surrounding applications (CRM, CMS, document management system) and digital experience platforms (Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager).
- Valuable Secondary Experience: Strong candidates with primary expertise in other complex domains such as Automotive, Consumer Goods, Telecom, or Aviation will also be considered along with Insurance domain expertise.
