About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Academic Operations Manager to own day-to-day program delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of our learning programs. This role sits at the intersection of curriculum, learner experience, and cross-functional delivery, driving high retention and program quality through robust processes and data.
Role & Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end academic operations for assigned programs: scheduling, enrollment, attendance tracking, assessments, and certification workflows.
- Administer and optimise the LMS and SIS—maintain course shells, user provisioning, gradebooks, and automated notifications.
- Coordinate with curriculum designers, trainers, and subject-matter experts to ensure timely content deployment and version control.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance processes: audit learning artifacts, proctoring standards, and learner feedback loops.
- Track operational KPIs (completion, attendance, NPS) and produce actionable reports to stakeholders to drive retention and performance improvements.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and on-site coordination for classroom and hybrid sessions.
Must-Have
- Proven experience managing academic or training operations in EdTech, university programs, or corporate learning environments.
- Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Information Systems (SIS).
- Strong program coordination skills with demonstrated use of project management best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools to drive decisions.
- Experience implementing quality assurance processes and SOPs for learning delivery.
- On-site availability and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and in-person training logistics.
- Experience with Moodle, Canvas, or other major LMS platforms.
- Familiarity with basic SQL or data-visualisation tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
- Prior exposure to blended learning program design or corporate L&D operations.
- Hands-on role with clear ownership and visibility to senior leadership.
