Business Development Representative

We are looking for a dynamic, driven, and highly articulate Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our core sales team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, a solid understanding of telecom and SaaS technologies, and the confidence to independently conduct online demonstrations of our platform to prospects. You will play a critical role in building our sales pipeline, nurturing leads, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Qualification
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through inbound leads, outbound calls, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and industry events.
- Leverage personal and industry contacts to build a high-quality sales pipeline.
- Follow up on leads generated by marketing campaigns and move them through the sales funnel.
- Client Engagement
- Initiate conversations with prospective clients to understand their communication needs and pain points.
- Conduct discovery calls, needs analysis, and solution positioning tailored to customer profiles.
- Independently deliver compelling online demonstrations of the MultyComm platform to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Sales & Relationship Building
- Nurture long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
- Work closely with the senior sales team to convert qualified leads into customers.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, feedback, and progress in CRM tools.
- Market Intelligence
- Understand and communicate MultyComm's value proposition effectively, especially within the telecom and SaaS ecosystem.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging customer needs.
- Provide actionable feedback to product and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in business development or inside sales, preferably in SaaS, telecom, UCaaS, or CPaaS sectors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to deliver professional online product demonstrations and virtual sales meetings.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales automation tools.
- Sound understanding of telecom/VoIP, cloud PBX, and SaaS concepts such as SIP, API integration, unified communications, and contact center solutions is a strong advantage.
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and capable of working as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment.
- Should be able to conduct demo's online and proficient in English .
- Additional language knwoledge would be an added qualifciation
Preferred Attributes:
- Prior experience selling to SMBs and mid-market enterprises.
- Strong presentation and storytelling ability during customer-facing engagements.
- Technical aptitude to understand platform architecture and integrations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for technology-driven communication platforms.
- Should be presentatble and should have excellent communicatiion skills
- Should be motivated with commissions
