Job Responsibilities:

  • Mainly to assist your seniors in the development and delivery of all bids and projects, ensuring pre-qualification questionnaires and all tender documentation are completed.
  • To draft and review bid submission content, ensuring all bids are submitted on time and fully compliant with the requirements.
  • Ensure all proposals are formatted and comply with company brand guidelines, customer requirements and follow internal quality guidelines.
  • Analyses the clients documents to ensure the responses being created respond implicitly to the questions being asked.
  • Coordinate clarification questions, forward to client and monitor responses.
  • The role is generally focused on evaluating the initial enquiry with the sales team and tracking and managing progress of works and presenting final bids to clients as required.
  • Understanding the rules of tendering
  • Undertaking a Bid/No Bid exercise to decide whether to make a submission or not
  • Understanding the RFP, deciding timelines and responsibilities
  • Selling your tender and pricing to win
  • Timely management of tender activities
  • Obtaining feedback from purchasers when tenders are unsuccessful in order to improve in future
  • To submit detailed responses to the enquiry documentation and provide answers/responses to any subsequent requests for clarification.
  • To develop costing as a part of the bidding/quotation process.
  • To act as company's internal contact point for the customer during the enquiry and bidding process
  • Must also make sure that deadlines are meet.
