JOB DESCRIPTION — BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (SALES)

Location: New Delhi

Department: Corporate & Athlete Services

Reports to: Head – Business Development / Centre Manager

Role Summary

The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new client acquisition for Sporting Ethos through on-field sales, digital outreach, and strategic partnerships.

The role involves acquiring new clients, collaborating with academies and sports clubs and other target audiences, promoting Sporting Ethos' services across sports science, physiotherapy, strength & conditioning, and longevity solutions.

Key Responsibilities
1. On-Field Sales & Outreach

  • Conduct structured visits to sports academies, clubs, schools, colleges, gyms, recreational athlete groups, sports event etc.
  • Present Sporting Ethos' offerings (Body Base Camp, Physiotherapy, S&C, Nutrition, Longevity and recovery solutions).
  • Build relationships with coaches, administrators, athletes, and parents.
  • Identify opportunities for tie-ups, recurring partnerships, and group programs.

2. New Client Acquisition

  • Generate and nurture leads through fieldwork, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
  • Convert leads into paying clients for physiotherapy, S&C, assessments, and long-term athlete programs.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools/Google Sheets.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and acquisition targets.

3. Digital Marketing Support

  • Assist with creating and executing digital campaigns for awareness and lead generation.
  • Coordinate with the Social Media team for targeted promotions to academies, athletes, and parents.
  • Track and report campaign performance and conversions.
  • Manage WhatsApp marketing, email follow-ups, and community engagement.

4. Partnerships & Relationship Building

  • Establish collaborations with academies, clubs, event organizers, and sports institutions, instagram pages.
  • Manage partnerships to ensure long-term retention and service quality.
  • Facilitate athlete onboarding, assessments, and first consultations.

5. Reporting & Coordination

  • Plan, Prepare, track and report weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasting, and performance dashboards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Physiotherapy, S&C, High Performance, Operations).
  • Ensure accurate communication of client needs to service teams.

Requirements

  • MBA degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in on-field sales, business development, sports marketing, or client acquisition.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for sports, fitness, and athlete development.
  • Ability to travel frequently across Delhi NCR.
  • Good understanding of digital marketing (Meta Ads, Google Ads, Instagram promotions).
  • Comfortable with CRM tools, Whatsapp API, AI tools and software, Google Sheets, and creating google sheet scripts through Chatgpt..

Must Have

  • Prior Experience working in on-field sales.
  • Passionate about the space and genuinely helping clients with rehab, fitness and performance.
  • Understanding of sports science services.
  • Ability to work under targets and timelines.
  • Very strong personal and professional ethics.
