Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and target-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead sales and business development for Secured Business Loans across an assigned region. The role involves managing a team of sales officers/relationship managers, driving loan disbursements, maintaining portfolio quality, and ensuring business growth in line with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales officers/relationship managers to achieve sales and disbursement targets.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive customer acquisition for secured business loans (Loan Against Property, Term Loans, Working Capital Loans).
- Identify and build relationships with customers, channel partners, and intermediaries (DSAs, brokers, CA networks, etc.).
- Monitor loan applications, documentation, and credit processes to ensure compliance.
- Drive productivity and performance of the sales team through training, mentoring, and regular reviews.
- Maintain portfolio quality by ensuring proper due diligence, credit assessment, and timely collections follow-up.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and competitive positioning.
- Coordinate with credit, operations, and risk teams for seamless loan processing and disbursement.
- Prepare MIS reports and update management on sales performance, pipeline, and market trends.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
