Job Description:
As the Territory Sales Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the sales operations within your assigned territory. This role requires a proven sales leader with a deep understanding of the power tools industry. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, managing a team of sales representatives, developing and executing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales activities within your territory, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and growth objectives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and increase market share for the company's product offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and dealers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews to assess the team's progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze sales data and market performance to report on territory performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure product knowledge and industry best practices are consistently applied by the sales team.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a reputed power tools company or related industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing sales in a specific geographic territory.
- Strong knowledge of the power tools market, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory as required.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
