The Unclaimed Property, Process Associate works with a team to assist clients with unclaimed property services includes researching, reconciling databases, and completing detailed calculations. Along with accomplishing his/her core responsibilities to meet the business goals by sharing extensive process experience in collaboration with respective manager. Primarily, acts consistently and fairly with stakeholders, focusing on resolving issues and performing with a client focused attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

People:

  • Create a positive team experience.
  • Proactively reaching out to stakeholders on effective workflow management
  • Proactively seeks training from seniors on various tools and tasks handled in AUP.

Client:

  • Assists US team with Entity Research, Prospect preparation, Owner identification, address proofing and consulting tasks and follow up with Jurisdictions for the unclaimed property data for timely claims
  • Assists US team with unclaimed property Consulting tasks, including data scheduling, data conversions for voluntary disclosures and audit defense.  This includes researching issues, reconciling databases, and completing detailed calculations
  • Preparing state unclaimed property Compliance filing based on the requirement
  • Sends email and ensures to timely follow up with US jurisdictions on initial emails for responses
  • Tracks of all the responses from jurisdictions and respond back promptly for any other questions.

  • Assists in preparing prospects, conducting claims research, Address search and entity proofing
  • Knowledge in processing the invoices of the clients using TRACKER Software services
  • Performs any tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Commerce/ Accounting/ Business

0-1 years of experience in Web Research

Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Good communication skills and excellent email writing skills are required.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Internet navigation and research.

Additional Skills:

  • Good understanding on web research and excellent analytical & problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadline
  • Expertise in MS Excel and MS Word and working knowledge of MS access
  • Expertise in Project Management & Quality Management
  • Proactive communication and good organizing skills
  • Ability to handle any task with minimum supervision

Work Environment:

  • Current work hours are 2.00 PM to 11.00 PM, IST or 7.00 AM to 4.00 PM, IST. Shift change is anticipated depending on US work hours/time zone and business need.
  • Candidate should be willing to work in any shift.
  • A reasonable amount of overtime will be required during peak season.
  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees in India and US both via e-mail and telephone.
