Abandoned and Unclaimed Property Associate Business Analyst works with consultants and managers in US to extract information from PDF documents, transforms large sets of data in excel, access and SQL platforms. This role expects to perform data extraction and transformation using efficient methods through automation.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan's Key Results

People:

  • Create a positive team experience
  • Proactively reaching out to stakeholders on effective workflow management
  • Proactively seeks training from seniors on various tools and tasks handled in AUP.

Client:

  • Proactive work status update to India and U.S. Stakeholders
  • Performs quality assurance as required
  • Performs any tasks as assigned.

Value:

  • Downloading & extracting information from different sources
  • Analyze data from various sources and submit summary reports
  • Data transformation and cleanup in compliance with business rules
  • Reconcile values from different data sources
  • Prepare reports as per business requirements
  • Help prepare documentation and AUP claim related work.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors in any degree preferable
  • 0-2 year of experience in web research and data analytics.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Computer Skills:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Internet navigation and research.

Additional Skills:

  • Good understanding on web research and excellent analytical & problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and stressful situations
  • Expertise in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Basic knowledge on SQL
  • Proactive communication and good organizing skills
  • Proven ability to be a team player and work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated experience in handling multiple tasks simultaneously and working with changing priorities in a complex business environment
  • Project planning
  • Ability to handle any task with minimum supervision.

Work Environment:

  • Current work hours are 2.00 PM to 11.00 PM, IST or 7.00 AM to 4.00 PM, IST. Shift change is anticipated depending on US work hours/time zone and business need.
  • Candidate should be willing to work in any shift.
  • A reasonable amount of overtime will be required during peak season.
  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees in India and US both via e-mail and telephone.
