The Academic Counsellor is responsible for guiding students in their educational journey by providing academic advice, career counseling, and support in course selection. The role involves understanding students' goals, addressing their queries, and ensuring they receive the right guidance to achieve academic and career success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students on academic programs, courses, and career opportunities.
  • Assist students in selecting appropriate courses based on their interests, strengths, and career goals.
  • Provide accurate information about admission procedures, academic requirements, and institutional policies.
  • Address academic and personal challenges faced by students, offering suitable guidance and support.
  • Track student progress and provide regular feedback to ensure academic success.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and orientation sessions on academic and career development.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of educational trends, programs, and industry opportunities.
  • Coordinate with faculty and administrative staff to support students' academic needs.
  • Maintain records of counseling sessions and student development plans.
  • Encourage and motivate students to achieve their personal and academic goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to listen actively and empathize with students.
  • Knowledge of academic programs and career development strategies.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Experience in student counseling or academic advising is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Office/Institution-based role with regular student interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
