We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Chef to join our team at Marriott International. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine and 2 to 7 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Roles and Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu ideas and recipes.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented safely, meeting quality control standards.
- Develop and implement effective cooking techniques to enhance flavors and textures.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a chef in an Indian cuisine setting, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, ingredients, and spices.
- Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, stoves, and refrigerators.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality food products that meet customer expectations.
