Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement effective export strategies to expand the company's market share internationally.

Identify and develop new business opportunities in foreign markets.

Manage all documentation related to export procedures, including customs clearance, shipping, and compliance with international regulations.

Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping agents for timely delivery of goods.

Ensure compliance with international trade laws, including export licenses, trade agreements, and other legal requirements.

Build and maintain relationships with overseas clients, distributors, and partners.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in international markets.

Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and pricing with international buyers.

Coordinate with production, supply chain, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth order execution.

Monitor sales performance and generate regular reports for senior management.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum of 4-10 years of experience in export/import or international sales.

Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, export documentation, international shipping, and customs procedures.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle,Zoho etc.) is a plus.

Fluency in English; additional foreign language proficiency is an advantage.
