Job Role:

Key Details

  • Designation: Manager Export
  • Location: Head Office, Marol MIDC Mumbai
  • Reporting to: General Manager Sales
  • Subordinates: Works indirectly with Sales Coordinators and Factory Coordinators

Candidate Profile

  • Education:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Chemistry / Polymer Technology / Engineering
  • MBA in Marketing / International Business OR PG Diploma in Exports (added advantage)
  • Experience: 10-to-15 years in exports of resins, chemicals, pigments, or paint-related products
  • Age limit: Up to 40 years

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and expand export business for the companys product range.

  2. Prepare export budgets, resource planning, and ensure achievement of export targets.

  3. Handle all export-related documentation, logistics, shipping, and compliance with government bodies like Port Trust, DGFT, etc.

  4. Build the company's international brand image.

  5. Identify new international business opportunities and develop long-term partnerships.

  6. Participate in domestic/international fairs, exhibitions, and seminars to promote products.

  7. Ensure timely collection of export payments.

  8. Manage relations with importers, traders, and wholesalers overseas.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Communication, drafting, and coordination abilities.
  • Knowledge of export-import rules & regulations.
  • Fluency in English (foreign language knowledge is a plus).
  • Diplomatic, tactful, and good personality traits.
