Role: Business Finance Manager

We're looking for a driven
Business Finance Manager
to build and lead our business partnering function — connecting finance with strategy across Sales, Marketing, and Product/R&D. The ideal candidate brings a strong FP&A or business finance background (not BPO), thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to make a direct impact in a growing SaaS business.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Serve as the strategic finance partner to Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Build credibility with business leaders through actionable, data-driven insights.
  • Translate financial data into business narratives that influence decisions.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles.
  • Ensure budget adherence and financial discipline across functions.
  • Drive accountability through variance analysis and spend tracking.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Deliver monthly performance packs and insights on key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV).
  • Identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
  • Build ROI models and support business case development for new initiatives.

Process & Control Excellence

  • Develop scalable business finance processes and standardized reporting.
  • Strengthen compliance, internal controls, and procurement alignment.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve capital deployment and working capital efficiency.

Team & Leadership

  • Mentor a small team of analysts; foster analytical rigor and proactive problem-solving.
  • Act as a culture carrier for ownership, curiosity, and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a top-tier institution.
  • Experience:
    5–6 years in
    FP&A or Business Finance
    roles (preferably SaaS or subscription-based business).
  • Company Background:
    Experience in a large or high-growth organization with exposure to cross-functional collaboration.
  • Technical Skills:
    Expertise in Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling; exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    Strong initiative, clear communication, and career progression that reflects ownership and adaptability.
  • Mindset:
    Startup-ready — analytical yet execution-focused, thrives in dynamic environments.
