Job DescriptionInternational logistics company is hiring for a remote role of Customer Service & Data Entry Specialist (Freight Forwarding). Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, trucking, and digital supply chain management.

About the JobThe Customer Service & Data Entry Specialist will play a key role in delivering a high standard of service to our clients by managing inbound customer inquiries, tracking shipments, and accurately updating our internal systems with real-time data. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple priorities and time zones. This is a fully remote role, requiring strong communication, multitasking, and data management skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner

Provide clients with real-time updates on shipment statuses, delivery timelines, and issue resolutions

Monitor shipment progress and escalate any delays or exceptions to the appropriate internal teams

Collect shipping-related data from emails, vendor systems, and other platforms and accurately update internal systems

Register new shipment details, document milestones, and ensure all relevant information is reflected for internal and client visibility

Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and carrier teams to ensure smooth information flow

Ensure all customer interactions are logged and followed up appropriately

Maintain a calm and helpful attitude even during high-pressure situations

Required Skills & Experience2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in logistics or supply chain

Strong empathy, problem-solving, and customer communication skills

Fast and accurate data entry abilities; strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Familiarity with shipment tracking, milestone updates, and CRM systems

Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin or Spanish) are a plus

Ability to stay organized and responsive in a fast-paced remote work environment

Comfortable working across U.S. and international time zonesPreferredExperience working with freight forwarding or customs brokerage teams

Familiarity with tools like TrackPod, Freightos, CargoWise, or other logistics software

Background in e-commerce logistics or Amazon FBA support

Experience handling B2B customer relationships and follow-ups
