Engineer – Billing- Borivali(W)- Real Estate Industry

Job Description:
We have an urgent opening for the position of Engineer-Billing for one of our reputed builder clients in Borivali (W), Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
- To verify bills for the services used, in order to ensure that appropriate payment is made as per contract conditions.
- Assist in preparing general conditions, special conditions, specifications, BOQs, and payment terms for tenders and work orders.
- Assist in the tendering process, review tenders received, and make bid comparison statements.
- Provide rate analysis for tender items and variations. Assist in the issue of work orders as per the project plan.
- Measure the value of work claimed in running account bills to ensure that it is as per the payment terms defined in the work orders.
- Compare the claimed quantities with the theoretical quantities.
- Conduct site audits to verify executed quantities.
- Assist in verifying contractual claims.
- Prepare payment certificates.
- Assist in maintaining proper records of work orders, contractual obligations, and correspondence.
- Regularly report to the Contracts Manager, the status of work orders issued as per the project plan, the amount of billing done against each, the status of payments made, and the balance cost to complete.
Candidates profile:
- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized University / Institute
- a work experience in real estate high-rise construction in Mumbai for 4 years or more, with a minimum two years in a similar capacity, for residential / commercial projects at multiple locations in western suburbs.
