Client:– Leading Logistics Service Provider in Freight Forwarding, Project Handling, and Ancillary Logistics Services
Join a prominent logistics service provider specializing in freight forwarding, project handling, and comprehensive consultancy services. Our client is a leader in the logistics industry, offering tailored solutions to meet diverse customer needs.
Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with the sales team by sharing client leads to drive new customer acquisition. - Thoroughly review and approve quotations and job orders across all verticals, including Ocean, Air, and Project Logistics. - Accompany the sales team to meetings with potential clients to secure new business and assist in payment recovery if delays arise, or resolve customer issues. - Lead weekly sales meetings to discuss outstanding accounts with current customers, targeted customers, and feedback on inquiries. - Manage all credit and commission approvals in coordination with senior management. - Develop new business opportunities by onboarding new customers, sending quotations, and nurturing customer relationships. - Provide expert guidance to the operations team on handling and customs clearance of specialized commodities. - Foster a collaborative team environment through team-building activities, ensuring effective cooperation among team members. - Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets set by the company. - Recruit and onboard new sales staff as necessary to ensure team efficiency. - Oversee operations across three branches: Ahmedabad, Baroda, and Gandhidham, with the potential to establish additional branches.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in a similar role within the logistics industry, specifically in freight forwarding and project handling. - Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing teams and achieving revenue targets. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to make informed decisions under pressure and handle complex logistics operations. - Experience in expanding business operations and establishing new branches is a plus.
