Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Growth Manager – Retail to drive our retail store growth strategy. The role involves identifying new market opportunities, developing expansion plans, executing store launches, and ensuring profitability of offline channels. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in retail expansion, market research, negotiations, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion Strategy: Identify potential cities, locations, and formats for retail growth aligned with company objectives.
  • Market Research & Feasibility Studies: Conduct demographic, competitor, and footfall analysis to assess new opportunities.
  • Store Launches: Lead end-to-end process for new store openings including site finalization, legal documentation, vendor management, and coordination with operations, projects, and marketing teams.
  • Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, real estate agents, and mall managements for strategic partnerships and site acquisitions.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare business cases, ROI analysis, and cost projections for new stores.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report performance of newly launched stores; recommend corrective measures where necessary.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Projects, Marketing, HR, and Finance to ensure timely and successful store rollouts.
  • Compliance & Legal: Ensure all regulatory and legal requirements for new locations are met.
  • Expansion Targets: Achieve defined KPIs for store count, revenue growth, and market penetration.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience in retail expansion, business development, or real estate acquisition within the Retail/Luxury Retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of retail formats (high street, malls, standalone stores).
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and financial analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
