Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Business Development Manager to lead business growth in Odisha. The role involves identifying project opportunities, engaging with government departments, supporting tender processes, and developing strategic partnerships or JVs to expand our presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a state-level strategic sales & business development plan for Odisha.
- Engage with government departments and consultants to identify upcoming projects and promote company solutions.
- Build strong relationships with department officials, engineers, and contractors.
- Identify and evaluate potential JV or local partners to strengthen project participation and execution.
- Support tender and proposal activities, including pre-bid interactions and documentation.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and government project announcements.
- Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and provide regular business reports and forecasts.
Ensure timely payment follow-ups and client coordination during project execution.
Experience: 10-20 years in business development/project sales in EPC, water, or infrastructure sectors.
Prior experience with Odisha government departments is highly desirable.
Strong network-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of tendering, DPR, and government contracting processes.
- Fluent in Odiya (mandatory), with good command of Hindi and English.
