Position Overview

The Senior Consultant – Change Management will play a key role in Service Integration and Management (SIAM) for Mercedes-Benz Service Operations. This role is responsible for governing the end-to-end Change Management lifecycle, ensuring adherence to standards, and preventing service disruptions during and after change implementations.

Key Responsibilities


• Attend Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings globally and manage Change Requests


• Track lifecycle of changes and coordinate with primary vendors for compliance


• Evaluate and challenge changes that do not meet defined acceptance criteria


• Ensure minimal/no business impact during and post change execution


• Support Change Management Process Owner in CAPA & CSI initiatives


• Perform regular audits and quality checks on change tickets


• Recommend improvements to enhance the maturity of Change Management processes


• Review periodic performance metrics and drive corrective actions


• Prepare process performance reports and assist during internal/external audits


• Monitor and ensure ServiceNow tool alignment with change process standards

Key Skills & Competencies


• Strong stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels


• Experience working with large-scale IT Infrastructure, Data Centers & Network Operations


• Ability to collaborate with multiple internal & third-party vendor teams


• Strong communication and documentation skills


• Ability to translate technical scenarios into business-impact language


• Process-oriented with strong analytical and governance mindset

Technical & Certification Requirements


• ITSM Change Management expertise


•
ServiceNow platform experience
– Mandatory


• ITIL Foundation certification required


• ITIL Intermediate in Service Operations preferred

Candidate Profile


• 5 –9 years of core IT Service Management experience


• Strong focus on change governance and process compliance


• Problem solver with proactive approach towards process improvements
