Role Overview

As part of our
Corporate Strategy & M&A Synergy
team, you will work closely with the leadership to identify, assess, and execute M&A opportunities across industries and geographies. This role requires a deep understanding of corporate strategy, transaction logic, and synergy evaluation, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.

You will be at the intersection of
strategy consulting and investment banking
, helping DealZebra build frameworks that not only discover deals but also validate their strategic value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth
    industry and market analysis
    to identify acquisition opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Evaluate
    synergies
    in potential transactions, including revenue growth opportunities, cost optimization, capability enhancement, and market expansion.
  • Support in building
    M&A synergy models
    to quantify value creation opportunities.
  • Work with data science teams to improve the
    AI-driven motive mapping library
    motives) by bringing real-world transaction logic and strategy insights.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to
    assess transaction feasibility
    and strategic fit.
  • Develop high-quality presentations, investment memos, and strategy documents for leadership and clients.
  • Stay updated with global M&A trends, competitive landscapes, and corporate development practices.

Required Qualifications

  • MBA/PGDM from Tier-1 or Tier-2 B-Schools (Strategy, Finance, or related fields).
  • 2–5 years of experience in
    M&A, Corporate Strategy, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting
    (Big 4 / Top IBs preferred).
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of
    M&A transaction logic
    and synergy drivers.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for senior-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a
    fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
    with global exposure.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in
    buy-side/sell-side transactions
    .
  • Exposure to
    cross-border M&A
    and multi-industry deals.
  • Understanding of
    AI/technology in deal origination
    is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work with both
    qualitative and quantitative insights
    to drive decisions.
