Role Overview:
The Telesales Executive will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound sales calls, promoting dairy products (milk, paneer, curd, etc.), maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring achievement of sales targets in both B2B (distributors, retailers, institutions) and B2C (end customers, households, direct buyers) segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers for product promotion and order generation.
- Manage B2B customer accounts such as distributors, wholesalers, retail shops, hotels, and caterers.
- Handle B2C customer inquiries for home delivery, subscription services, or direct purchase.
- Explain product features, pricing, offers, and ensure timely order booking.
- Follow up on leads, quotations, and payments.
- Maintain daily call logs, customer records, and sales reports in CRM/ERP.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams for order fulfillment.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the Sales Manager.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Marketing preferred).
- 1–2 years of telesales/inside sales experience, preferably in FMCG/Dairy sector.
- Good communication skills in English and local language.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation ability.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Excel, and call-handling systems.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
