RentoMojo caters to the needs of the working professionals which is unmet due to nonavailability of furnished rental flats by offering furniture and appliances on rental basis, thus, providing more flexibility than owning the expensive furniture and appliances. 

Currently, we have 100,000+ subscribers with a typical rental period of 12-14 months. The current market size (as per a recent report by Grant Thornton) is estimated to be US$ 4.1 Billion and expected to grow to US$ 13 Billion by 2025. 

With 700+ people operations, the company has a presence in 16 cities across India. Looking back, Rentomojo has not only made a new market of lease which never existed for the consumer, they have also become market leaders in the consumer rental industry. Unlike the norm, they are now seeing a reverse trend wherein a version of ours is being copied in the US and UK. We are also profitable at monthly PAT since Oct 2021.

Designation: Regional Head HRBP

 Job Summary: 

At Rent mojo our continuous endeavor is to provide excellent service to the customers. HRBP plays a pivotal role in ensuring that employees are motivated, productive and committed to serving the customers by delivering excellence. The purpose of the Regional Lead HRBP role is to partner with the Business operations team and ensure that the right people are available at the right time and at the right place. HRBP will ensure that employees are assimilated quicker in the organization and that they are committed to delivering high quality service to our customers. HRBP will also ensure we fully comply with all labor related statutory obligations consistently at every location. They operate as a single point of contact between the employees at the Site and HR team for perfect Business Delivery.

Key Responsibilities: 


  •  Lead a team of HRBP Executives/ Recruiter and ensure all HRBP initiatives are implemented in the assigned regions.

  •  Monitor Absenteeism and Unauthorized leave at the Hub and take control measures along with Site Supervisor/ Manager.

  •  Process Payroll input for employees during the payroll cycle and coordinate with the Central Payroll POC.

  • Creating awareness and ensuring full compliance with the Zero Tolerance Policy (ZTP) and Code of Conduct (COC).

  •  Work with the Supervisors and identify measures to control attrition.

  • Conduct Exit Interviews and update the regional operations team and Central.

  • Maintain MIS (Records) of Employee's Performance and Productivity.

  • Communicate changes in employee policies and processes from time to time.

  • Visit assigned Sites in the regions and conduct Town Hall session. Act on the feedback obtained to improve operational efficiency.

  • Support and Coordinate with Site In-Charge on employee engagement initiatives.

  •  Coordinate with Site HRBP and resolve employee queries related to benefits and compliances.

  • Support Site Supervisor and Managers on employee grievance redressal.

  • Coordinate with the Central HR team in resolving employee queries.

  • Deals with vendors on a regular basis to ensure full compliance with outsourced employee processes.

  • Field visit observation of HR Processes at the Sites.

  • Conduct On Roll Joining formality/On boarding & Documentation and coordinate with Site HRBP team.

  • Enrolling Employees in Statutory benefits Scheme.

  • Processing New Employee ID, Email ID and ESIC Card /Insurance card as applicable.

  • Monthly Employee Engagement calendar implementation.

  • Ensure Resolve of any IR issues with immediate effect

  • Track Daily Attendance and Update Duty Roster.

  • Ensure Shop & Establishment and other labor compliances for all Sites.

  • Accountable for Regional Hiring for the span of control

  • Coordinate with the Training team to ensure that trained new recruits are deployed at the Hub.



Candidate Qualifications: 

You could be a great fit if you have/are,

● Minimum Graduate, Post Graduate holders will be preferred.



Required Skills: 

  •  Having skills and knowledge of Recruitment, Selection, Payroll Processing, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Disciplinary Process and Statutory Compliance.

  •  Fluency in reading and writing in English. Knowledge of local/vernacular language is necessary.

  • Operational Knowledge of Supply chain/Retail/FMCG/FMCD industry will be preferred.

  • Skill and knowledge of operating HR based ERP.

  • Should know computing skills, especially reasonable knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point and MS Outlook mail.



Other requirements

  • Should be an Indian National

  • Preference will be given to those candidates who have the knowledge and skill of dealing directly with Employee representatives and conducting Employee Relations activities.

  • He / she should have been in a supervisory capacity in earlier roles
